I came across RC Car Stars on the internet and decided to send my Tekno EB48.4 buggy and all of the electronics along with aftermarket parts to RC Car Stars to be built. RC Car Stars did a spectacular job. They are great about offering technical assistance if you have rc related questions. Matt was patient and spent the time to go over with me all of the different products he used to build the car from the beginning. He uses certain bearing sprays, shock oils and diff oils and explained about binding and calibrating correctly on an ESC. All of my aftermarket parts were installed and I was amazed by how the build turned out. There is a reasonable turnaround time to when you will get your RC back. You can be assured that 110 percent effort and quality will go into your build.
I had the opportunity to stay informed on certain things I wanted from the build and with no hesitation it was built to my specs. This included all of the black wiring and the use of Bad Horsie shock covers and a few other items. The body he painted gray and white and it came out perfectly.

I had RCcarStars do a 20 point checkup on two of my 1/16 scales Traxxas Slashes. They were not working well and had issues with electronics. They did the checkup and repaired wires and plugs, replaced old AM radios with new 2.4ghz controllers and receivers. Blew-up ESC in my SC10 short course 4x4, so I took it to RCcarStars for a free 20 point checkup and it turned out that the paddle tires and motor timing and gearing where all wrong for RC. They set me up with the right gearing and timing on motor and added a fan and new Castle Momba Monster ESC that is now tuned-up and works like a champ... I bought an Axial SCX10 II kit for my son but it turns out we did not know what we were doing... So Matt at RCCARSTARS.COM assembled the complete kit and installed all electronics and motor and got the Axial running for my son. Great to know there is a service for those of us who need help. They also explained maintenence schedule and how to program and adjust electronics... A-Plus service!!!!
